    Basic Security Officer Requirements:

    • Applicant must be a US Citizen or meet US Immigration requirements
    • Applicant must consent to an in-depth background check.
    • Applicant must have a High School education or GED
    • Applicant must be 18 years of age (21 and up for some positions)
    • Applicant must have a telephone at his/her residence (Cellphones qualify)
    • Applicant must have a valid Maryland driver’s license (Driving Positions)
    • Applicant must have reliable transportation
    • Applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or a crime of moral turpitude
    • Applicant must have the ability to pass a drug screening
    • Applicant must have the ability to effectively speak, read and write English

    Interview Process

    If the applicant meets the above requirements, our personnel manager interviews he/she. If this interview is positive, they proceed to the next step. Next in line for the successful applicant is an interview with the Operations Manager. During this interview, the particular capabilities of each applicant are evaluated to determine his/her job assignment. In other words, we evaluate any information we have accumulated to this point and determine what type of post best suits the job candidate. By doing so, we can properly place each officer in an environment that will best benefit the officer and the customer alike.

    Background Investigation

    An investigation is conducted to verify the following information prior to an officer working for any Watson Security Service customer:

    • Date of Birth
    • Social Security Number
    • Current Address
    • Former Address
    • Previous Employment
    • Drivers License Check
    • Criminal History Check
    • Educational Verification

    We are currently looking for:

    Security Officers 
    P/T shifts available for high-profile accounts in Baltimore area. Must have extremely clean-cut, corporate appearance and outstanding customer service attitude. Must present a professional appearance on interview and be people-oriented. Requires HS diploma or GED and the ability to obtain a guard card, drug screen and must be over 21. Salary based on experience. Advancement potential.

    On-Call Special Events Officers
    Needed for movie premieres, corporate parties and other high-profile events. Must have extremely clean-cut, corporate appearance and outstanding customer service attitude. Salary based on experience.

    Private Investigators
    Needed for various types of investigations. Must have extremely clean-cut, corporate appearance and outstanding customer service attitude. Salary based on experience.

    Process Servers
    Needed for serving court documents. Must have extremely clean-cut, corporate appearance and outstanding customer service attitude. Salary based on experience.

    Fugitive Recovery Agent
    Needed for fugitive recovery. Salary based on experience.
